More than a month after the November 3, 2020 General Election that saw record voter turnout, around the nation Monday the Electoral College went forward with its legally mandated work of voting for the next President of the United States, which is widely expected will be Democrat Joe Biden, with 306 electoral votes. To win, a candidate needs 270 votes. President Donald Trump maintains the election was rigged, though the courts have remained unconvinced. Biden is expected to give a speech tonight.
