He says those responsible are the notorious and ultra-violent Jalisco New Generation drug cartel.<\/p>\n<p>His armor-plated vehicle was blocked by another SUV and then gunmen from a truck opened fire.<\/p>\n<p>A fifty-caliber sniper rifle, semi-automatic assault rifles, and fragmentation grenades were found at the scene.<\/p>\n<h2>Investigation ongoing<\/h2>\n<p>Twelve people have been arrested and are being questioned. Authorities confirm that the assassins were in four groups of seven gunmen.<\/p>\n<p>This is the most audacious attack ever in Mexico City.
