U.S. Representative Mike Gallagher discusses how his career in politics was an unexpected detour for his life. After joining the Marines straight out of high school Gallagher thought the Marines would send him off to a boring staff job, but instead he got his foot in the door with politics. Despite his demanding job, Gallagher keeps his life centered around his Catholic faith. Following in his grandmother’s footsteps he says “I try and start my day on my knees in prayer, and reading a little bit of Scripture.” In our busy lives we must make time to be alone with God. Capitol Hill Correspondent Erik Rosales reports.
