Priests, nuns march in solidarity with Sri Lanka protesters
Around 700 Catholic priests and nuns marched in Sri Lanka’s capital as street protests continue over the government’s handling of the country’s economic crisis. “Our corrupt leaders must be sensitive to the cry of the people,” said Catholic priest Father Cecil Joy Perera at a rally.
