Amid deadly monsoon floods, Pakistan’s food delivery riders risk disease, electrocution, and accidents to earn just $7 a day. Riders for Foodpanda and Bykea push through waist-deep water in Lahore and Karachi, facing blocked accounts, rude customers, and little protection. With more than 1,000 killed since June, climate change, poor planning, and corruption worsen urban flooding, leaving gig workers and daily wage earners on the brink.
