Under the guiding motto “Lend a hand to mend a life,” this organization has been a beacon of hope for thousands of individuals, delivering financial assistance that has surpassed US$1.42 million, equivalent to over ten crore Indian rupees at today’s exchange rates.
Over the past two decades, HelpSaveLife has touched the lives of more than 1700 struggling families, offering a helping hand during their times of need. Notably, this achievement has been made possible by the unwavering support of over a thousand contributors who have lent their aid to the cause.
HelpSaveLife’s philanthropic focus can be broken down into two core areas: medical assistance for those in need and financial support for students striving to pursue their education in schools and colleges. Moreover, the organization has consistently provided assistance during natural disasters, such as floods and earthquakes, with a particular emphasis on housing reconstruction.
In the year 2023 alone, HelpSaveLife’s donations have demonstrated the real impact of their work. Here is a breakdown of their contributions:
Medical Assistance: A total of US$150,891 has been disbursed to facilitate the medical treatment of 105 individuals.
Educational Support: HelpSaveLife has enabled 29 needy students to pursue their higher education with a financial contribution of US$27,304.
Disaster Relief: The organization stepped up with a donation of US$11,047 to help 7 families who lost their homes due to flooding or other catastrophic events, contributing to the construction of new houses.
Support for Students: Through the Sponsor-A-Student program aimed at school and college students, 60 children received support with a financial allocation of US$24,374.
Aid in Africa: In a testament to their global reach, the organization also provided nearly $3,000 to various aid projects in Africa.
The commitment to helping others extends to every corner of HelpSaveLife. Their Youth wing successfully collected approximately $3,745 through engaging online fundraising programs for children. All of the collected funds were disbursed to aid many deserving poor youths in Kerala, supporting their medical treatments and educational needs.
Notably, HelpSaveLife extends its assistance exclusively to individuals who are either personally known to its members or whose eligibility for aid has been rigorously verified. Currently, the organization processes six or more assistance requests each month, with expedited support for urgent cases. It’s worth highlighting that 100% of the funds raised by the organization are dedicated to charitable causes. Due to the significant presence of individuals from the state of Kerala among its members, a substantial portion of the assistance provided by HelpSaveLife is channeled towards Kerala.
