Hannah Berner has moved on from her Summer House fling with Luke Gulbranson, and we have juicy details to share about her relationship timeline with her new man, Des Bishop. Viewers have watched the NYC podcaster falling head over heels for Des. Since Summer House season five was filmed last summer, Hannah and Des have gotten engaged. They are in the wedding planning part of their relationship, so a lot has already happened in their romance.
The past two Summer House seasons have followed the messy love war between Hannah and Luke. The two housemates started out as friends with benefits. When she began to develop feelings for him, Luke started to send her mixed messages. The heartbroken tennis lover moved on with her current fiancé, Des Bishop. She met Des five years before they started dating. Despite the fact that he was 15 years older and lived in Ireland, Hannah was able to develop a genuine bond with him. He is also a comedian, so they have plenty in common. While quarantining in separate parts of the world, they were devoted to one another.

After responding to a DM he sent her, Hannah embarked on a long-distance romance with Des. This happened in July 2020. By September, the new couple had moved in together. Hannah started gushing about Des: “It’s been a more powerful sort of falling for somebody than I have ever experienced in my life so I would be confident in saying I will certainly make an effort.” She continued, “because it feels like it is The One.” She also dished on how their romance started: “So I actually saw him at the Comedy Cellar, like, five years ago,” she revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. “He went up and he was so swaggy and confident and cute. But he was talking about how he lives in Ireland. So, I was like, ‘Oh, well, that guy’s so hot. But he lives in Ireland.’”
Hannah (who recently got dragged for a fake maternity post) went on to recall how “straightforward” Des was after sending her a DM. “If I didn’t scare him off with all my stupid TikToks during quarantine, then that was a win,” she jokingly shared. After spending the Christmas holiday together, the couple stepped into 2021 ready for marriage. After proposing on Valentine’s Day, the pair announced their engagement the following month. What a way to move on from Luke! Hannah found her future husband in less than a year and during an international health pandemic.
Meanwhile, Luke suffered a defeat after bringing newcomer Ciara Miller to the house. He had been hoping to start a romance with her. However, Ciara was not interested after seeing the way that Luke was treating Hannah. In the end, it looks like Hannah, Des, and Ciara all got the last laugh. Hannah is extremely happy now, and the whole world knows it. The Summer House star is glowing, and this may make Luke (who was linked with Lindsay Hubbard, who denies getting together with him) a little jealous.
